Drag Race: Pro Street, 3rd Round Qualifying, PSCA World Finals 2008

Pro Street drag race video from the PSCA World Finals 2008 event, this is the third round of qualifying. It’s blower vs. turbo vs. nitrous, everything from Dodge Neon to Pontiac Firebird to Chevrolet Corvette. There was plenty of drama, what with the return of Ed Thorton in his new Vette, and Giuseppe Gentile looking at possible new Pro Street records. Giuseppe needed something like a 230 mph pass to back up the 232 mph run from his previous round of drag race qualifying, and his 6.33 pass was very close to the Pro Street class e.t. record of 6.29. The bottom line for all of these Pro Street doorslammers is that they needed to run quicker than seven seconds, if they wanted to make the eight-car field at this drag race.
