Drag racing videos from the Street Car Super Nationals 2008 race. This particular drag race video covers some of the highlights of the Muscle Motors Pro Street Quickest & Fastest Pass Challenge. This race started off with pro street drag racers making single passes, which eliminated the pressure of cutting a good light, and let the racer concentrate totally on driving. However, due to an inordinate amount of oil downs earlier in the day, this class had to switch to racing in pairs instead of single runs. Mike Moran won the Muscle Motors Challenge with a 6.14@244 mph pass, as you’ll see in this drag racing video. The 6.17 elapsed time pass that you’ll see at the beginning of the video clip was run during the test and tune session a few hours earlier.
It was all Ron Weems in the Outlaw 10.5 tire drag racing elimination rounds, as you’ll see in these drag racing videos. Ron was able to get his Pontiac Grand Am suspension dialed in for the race track, and he made some solid six-second passes. He also won the 2008 PSCA Outlaw Street 10.5 tire points title, so he will be wearing the big number one on his race car in 2009.
